From Johannesburg / Pretoria: approx. 6 1/2 hours drive via Witbank, Ermelo, Piet Retief, Pongola,  Turn off at Mtubatuba to reach St. Lucia.

 
From Durban: St Lucia is 2 1/2 hours drive north on the N2 Tollroad on route to Swaziland, and the Kruger National park, or on route to Pretoria and Johannesburg.
